What is Supersomnia, LLC?
Supersomnia, LLC is an online sleep center. We offer many products and services you might need to sleep better and feel great.
Do you accept health care insurance?
We do not deal with health care insurance companies directly.
Will Supersomnia submit claims to my healthcare insurance company?
Supersomnia does not have any direct involvement in insurance claims.
Are my health records kept private?
Your health records are kept completely private, protected and encrypted.

Do I need a prescription for a home sleep test?
No prescription is required for a home sleep test.
How long will it take to get the results of my sleep study?
Generally, your sleep study report will be available within 2 business days after we receive the returned device.
What happens if I have issues setting up the home sleep test device?
If you are having trouble setting up the testing unit, please refer to the instructions that are included in the kit. Should you need more information, this helpful video or this video are available for you to watch.

If you are still unable to solve the problem, please call us during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

What is the cost of a home sleep test?
Each test is $295, which includes the rental of the device, as well as the interpretation and provision of results by a sleep physician for one night of data.
What happens if I break or lose the device?
Should the device not be returned to us or returned damaged due to improper use, you will be charged for repair or replacement as deemed appropriate by Supersomnia, LLC. The full replacement cost of the device is $4,500.

Supersomnia, LLC reserves the right to charge a fee of $50 for each day that the device is not returned past its due date. See our home sleep test terms and conditions page for more details.

I am required to have have a sleep study by a transportation agency (D.O.T., F.A.A., etc) - can I get one through Supersomnia?
Yes you can, but it is your responsibility to check with the requesting agency or your occupational health provider before purchasing.
Which sleep disorders do you treat?
We treat all sleep disorders including:
• chronic insomnia
• sleep related breathing disorders
However, we are unable to prescribe certain medications (DEA schedule II/IIN)
How much does an online consultation cost?
The base consultation fee is $195.  Consultations lasting longer than the allotted time will be billed proportional to the additional time required.

What times and days of the week are available for consultations?
We are available week nights from 6pm EST to 8:30pm EST. Please contact us in order to determine the most convenient time for an online consultation. In addition to weeknights, we have limited weekend and additional hours available to suit your needs.
What if I need to change or cancel an appointment?
We prefer at least 24 hours notice. You may reschedule or cancel an appointment up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Any/all charges for cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time will NOT be refunded.
What paperwork do I need to fill out before my consultation?
We would like to make this process as hassle free as possible for you, so no paperwork is required for initial consultation. If you have prior sleep studies and consultations it is always helpful to keep them handy during your online consultation.

You may be asked to keep sleep logs and fill out questionnaires as deemed necessary by our sleep physician.

Can I use a mobile device for a consultation?
Yes, besides most desktop systems, online consultations are supported by the following mobile operating systems:
iOS 6+*
• iPhone 4S+
• iPad 2+
• iPod Touch 5+
Android Phone
Android Tablet
*iOS users will need to download a (free) app for the video interaction

What is your return policy?
For rental devices, please see our home sleep test terms and conditions page for more details. For purchased products, we will provide a full refund for unopened, unused products returned within 30 days of purchase.
Do I have to pay tax on my purchase?
Yes, if you live in Michigan, we will charge you sales tax only on consumer (non-prescription) purchases at checkout. You will not be charged sales tax for home sleep tests, online consultations, or prescription products.
Residents of other states will be responsible for paying sales tax themselves per the laws of their state of residence.
How can I submit prescriptions to you?
You may send us your prescription via mail or fax. However, we cannot accept scanned and emailed prescriptions.
